Your safety is important to us

Dear Customer,

Since early diagnostic suspicion is one of the cornerstones of the correct management of SARS-CoV-2 disease, we would like to briefly remind you of some symptoms that, far from alarming you, would deserve a medical check-up, which the management will take care to ensure.

Symptoms to pay attention to:

The main symptom is fever, which can occur either with a slight rise (below 38°C) or with higher values, above 38°C.

Therefore, any rise in fever deserves attention, especially if associated with a dry cough or a feeling of pulmonary constriction or even mild respiratory fatigue. An unusual feeling of tiredness is also a symptom to take into account. A decrease or loss of taste and/or smell are also suggestive symptoms of SARS-CoV-2 infection.

Finally, in a smaller percentage of cases, the disease can manifest itself as conjunctivitis or diarrhoea.

Although these conditions can be attributed to many other, often trivial, diseases, it is good in this epidemic phase,

do not neglect its diagnostic significance with respect to SARS-CoV-2.

In full respect of your privacy, we guarantee our presence and help if you experience the above symptoms.

Social distancing:

Although difficult and sometimes painful, social distancing is as useful a behavioural measure as hand washing and mask use. Respecting the minimum distance of one metre at all stages of common life is necessary, as is the correct way to avoid occasional close contact. For this reason, restricted environments such as lifts have a regulated access, as well as any kind of waiting for any kind of service must respect the distance rule.
Respecting the spacing measures also serves to increase one's level of attention and concentration compared to many usual gestures and behaviours, which could be potentially risky at the moment.

Hand cleaning and disinfection:

Frequent hand washing with soap and water or hydro-alcoholic solutions is the second key to prevention.
The hydro-alcoholic solution is particularly effective in cancelling the pathogenic action of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and therefore its indirect transmission through hands accidentally contaminated by respiratory secretions. It is therefore important to wash your hands before handling commonly used devices, even if they are simple buttons, in order to protect others; washing them immediately after use is intended to protect yourself.

Disposable gloves:

Vinyl gloves are a useful individual protection measure, although less effective than those previously used. They serve to avoid contamination of the hands, but are not an alternative to washing them. They should be used for short periods when handling potentially highly contaminated materials or for food preparation or for the use of commonly used equipment. It should be noted that before and after wearing them, hands should be washed and that they should not be worn for long periods of time in order to carry out several activities in different work areas or environments. They must therefore be frequently changed and never recycled.

Masks and rational of their use:

The mask is one of the cornerstones of prevention measures.
Its fundamental role is represented by its ability to block the dispersion of droplets, which each person normally emits when speaking or sneezing, coughing, etc.. In this phase of the circulation of a virus with potential airborne transmissibility from droplets, wearing the mask is a civic duty for each citizen, towards the whole community. It prevents any of us from dispersing droplets into the environment. So before a defensive measure towards ourselves it is a preventive measure towards our neighbours. Therefore, if the staff who will welcome you and follow you in your needs during your stay wear masks, they will do so to protect your health before their own. Similarly, by wearing the surgical mask, you will be guaranteeing the health protection of the hotel staff. There are other types of masks, which have a higher filtering power (FP2). They are mainly worn by healthcare professionals who take care of patients suffering from diseases with high airborne transmissibility such as SARS-CoV-2. Inside the hotel they will be worn only by the personnel who have to assist a patient with a suspected/accepted disease as well as by the personnel in charge of sanitising the rooms occupied by a patient with a suspected/accepted disease.
Outside of these situations the surgical mask is the best filter for effectiveness and comfort.
